Effects of different organic fertilizers on growth and yield potential of Solanum melongena (eggplant) in Malaysia

Abstract Eggplant is a vegetable crop where its growth rate and yield quality are largely influenced by fertilizer application. The application of organic has high economic advantages when compared to inorganic fertilizer. study aimed determine the eggplant quantify fruit based on fresh weight as affected different fertilization. experiment was conducted in Greenhouse 3, UiTM Malacca Branch, Campus Jasin from March July 2022 with 4 treatments replications using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). consisted T 0 (control), 1 (252g chicken dung), 2 vermicompost), 3 biochar) two split applications. results showed that dung had significantly increased plant height, number leaves, leaf area, dry weight, flowers other treatments. This confirmed best for eggplant’s potential.
